1. You’ll need to get more exercise, so if you haven’t joined a gym yet, this is a good place to start. You might want to start walking more too, and using the car less.

2. Another essential is to make sure that you’re eating sensibly. There’s no point in going to the gym several times a week and still eating the same unhealthy food.

3. Try and eat less. Perhaps you could use smaller plates, or just cook less. Why not make sure that there’s another portion left so that you can freeze it?

4. You’ll want to try and limit the amount of snacks and bad food you eat. Saying you’re on a diet, and denying yourself certain foods, will automatically make you want them. You could treat yourself now and again, or find alternatives.

5. Getting more sleep will help your body repair itself, and prepare you for tomorrow. Do you really need to stay up so late, or could you benefit from a few early nights?

6. Despite what you may thing, you do need breakfast, and it is the most important meal of the day. A healthy breakfast will help you to get going in the morning, and you’ll be more likely to be alert and more productive at work.

7.. Your body can digest small amounts much better than large amounts, and so it’s better to eat little and often, rather than to starve yourself until tea time. Why not see if you can have 4 or 5 smaller meals and healthy snacks a day?

8. If you want a bit of moral support, then why not get other people involved too? You might find somebody else who wants to lose Fat, or who’ll be able to help you.

9. Why not set yourself goals, so that you’re aiming towards something. It might be an item of clothing you want to wear again, or perhaps you want to get back into playing sport, and need to lose Fat before you can.
