Create A Relaxing Bedtime Routine?

Routine is important when it comes to sleep. Preparation before falling asleep is crucial. If your sleep-wake cycle is finely mastered you will feel it in the next days coming activities. It’s hard to relax when bills are due and pressure sits in from the day. Stress certainly affects sleep and a lack of sleep certainly affects stress. Creating a peaceful bedtime routine is a work of art. One rule of thumb to remember is that all you can really do is manage yourself. Managing others will eventually wear you down. It isn’t a good foundation to peaceful living.
Keep the noise down. If you’re a light sleeper, introduce calm sounds or if you live in the city, mask it with a fan. Keeping the room cool adds to giving your body a crisp feeling. A bed definitely needs to be comfortable and can be a real catalyst to a good night’s sleep. Finding the right firmness and pillow can be a test but once you get it, you’ll feel it. Notice the differences. Plan calm activities like reading a book, listen to soft music, or even do stretches. The idea is to find a calm zone to prepare for sleep. You just need to give your body the cue it needs to nod off at the proper time.
A good night’s sleep will reenergize your battery and have you ready to tackle any fast paced and intense cardio workout like Hip Hop Abs. Without this much needed rest your inability to finish or complete a routine like hip hop abs well will ensue. That’s why it’s a good idea to get proper rest and give your body the much needed downtime it needs to recover and be ready for the next day’s activities.
