The sugar buster’s diet became all the rage when it started in New Orleans and spread like wildfire just by word of mouth. There’s basically only one rule to follow and that is avoid sugars and high glycemic index carbohydrates.
These high glycemic or GI carbohydrates are the commonly eaten white bread, pasta and white flour we gorge ourselves on in our daily diets. We sometimes ignore the affect of these high GI carbohydrates on our blood sugar levels and the potential risk of diabetes that it brings.
When we eat a slice of white bread our blood sugar sky rockets and our body is put into a state of shock. Yes it’s true that white bread has little sugar but it still acts the same way when it hits your body and this is when we get millions of people stuck in a prediabetic state.

- Pretty much anything with a high glycemic index
The simple act of cutting out sugar can have a dramatic affect on your body and your bodies ability to burn fat and its pretty much guaranteed that you will start to loose Fat very quickly.
Remember this is not a low carbohydrate diet plan the sugars busters diet is a no sugar diet so you can still enjoy your low gi carbohydrates such as oatmeal and wholemeal bread.
The sugar buster’s diet has no real structure and its really up to you how much you eat and how often you eat but its recommended 3-5 meals a day and always eat until you around 75-80% full not totally stuffed.
