Are there really vegetables that can help with Fat loss and in particular help you burn stomach fat?
In today’s society we have made so many advances with technology and helping ourselves live an easier life, but at what cost has that come? We have decided that Mother Nature on her own, can’t deal with all the pests etc that live along side us on this earth and so we made pesticides and herbicides to control those annoying little bugs. Unfortunately we did not look at what those chemicals could do to us as humans. They actually have an estrogenic effect on our bodies which can increase belly fat for men and women and make Fat loss seem like an even bigger challenge.
We are exposed to these chemicals through our food supply, water supply, the environment, household cleaners and even in cosmetics ladies! The given name for these chemicals is xenoestrogens and no matter where we live, we are all exposed to them in some way.
Now how do we fight this, and stop or at least reduce these chemicals so our bodies no longer hold onto our stomach fat and our Fat loss efforts are rewarded that much easier.
The easiest and probably most readily available answer is with vegetables, a specific class of veggie and these are cruciferous vegetables, e.g. broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kale and bok choy.
These vegetables all contain phytochemicals, vitamins, minerals and fibre. How does that help us? The unique compounds or phytonutrients found in these plants can help fight against the effects of xenoestrogens in the body, which in turn helps you to burn stomach fat more effectively. The other added benefit of eating this variety of vegetable is that they may also help to lower your risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease.
So now you have another good reason to eat broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage!
