The short answer is no. It’s disappointing I know, but your body cannot shed fat that quickly. You see fat is an amazing storehouse of energy and calories. It just won’t melt off of you (no matter what the pretty lady on TV promised you at 2:30 am).

If you’re serious about losing Fat, you need to understand that you cannot do it faster than about one pound per week. Yes, it’s troublesome to be stuck like that. I know that you want to get rid of the fat as quickly as possible.

It is at this point that you are faced with a choice. You can believe the lies that say you can lose Fat fast (and end up with nothing to show for it, because the non-fat Fat that you lose will come back), or you can accept the hard truth and begin a journey slowly, but surely to be better you.

You know the famous story about the rabbit and the turtle. The turtle won the race because he was slow and kept at it. The rabbit was fast and counted on his skills to win, but he didn’t stick with it and so he lost (of course he had the potential to win, but not the drive to make it happen).

Also beware of envy. Yes, there are more beautiful and skinny people out there. Yes, they never get fat or have these struggles. Put them out of your mind. Do not focus on others. You have a mission and a task to do. Stay true to it and make it happen for yourself.
