By making sure you feel full, you’ll naturally eat less each day, which will mean you’ll lose Fat quickly and easily.
So here are some easy ways to feel full for longer:
* Eat more fibre – fibre is great for your health, but it also makes you feel full for longer after eating! So having a meal that is high in fibre will stop you snacking! Try eating plenty of vegetables, brown rice, whole grains, nuts and seeds
* Eat foods high in water – fruits and vegetables especially have a high water content, which means you feel full even though they don’t contain lots of calories.
* Eat slowly – your brain (and your stomach) can’t register straight away how much you’ve eaten, they need some time. So try eating slower. Put your knife and fork down between each mouthful and chew your food 20 times before swallowing. You’ll feel full quicker, so will eat less.
* Eat protein – make sure each meal includes some protein to fill you up. Choose from poultry, meat, eggs, fish, cheese, nuts, beans and chickpeas.
* Stop distractions – nobody needs a family sized bag of crisps as an evening snack, and yet many people eat like this while watching TV or chatting to people online. Why? Because they’re not concentrating on what they are eating, or even whether they’re actually hungry at all! It’s just habit to keep eating while focusing on whatever else you’re doing. Stop eating in front of the TV or while being online and you will eat much less because you’ll be aware of when you become full.
