Sleep is a vital part on our lives. We practically spend half of your life sleeping. This is because sleep has a vital importance in growth in healing. This is why getting a lot of rest is important when you work out to lose Fat. During exercise your body suffers wear and tear especially if you have just started working out and are not quite in shape. When you sleep, your body shut downs the affected areas and performs repairs. To put this differently imagine that your body is like the engine of your car. You cannot change a part if it is running can you? However, if it is turned off you can replace the broken parts with one that is better. The same works for you body.

Building muscle is what burns fat. But without sleep, the body cannot build muscle and the fat will stay there. If you just started working out in order to lose Fat you should set your workouts about 2 days apart. This gives the body enough time to strengthen your muscles for the next workout and to burn some fat doing so. Simply working out more and more will not help you and can cause you injuries which take time to recover.

So take this into account before heading to your local heath center. Get some sleep! Don’t get me wrong sleeping 16 hours a day is definitely not good, but the 7 or 8 hours your mother told you are vital are a true and tested method. Especially, if you want to lose Fat. The best way is to try making a schedule and stick to it. Exercise regularly and sleep at least 7 hours a night. If you do not have the time, try slipping in an hour or so during the day. It is time to take control over your body and stop being frustrated by the way you look.
