4. Plan treats for the day. Do you have a terrible sweet tooth? You will be less likely to over-indulge if you plan your treats for the day, instead of waiting for a craving to hit.

5. Pre-portion snacks. Never eat directly out of the bag or box. Instead take out a single portion and close the bag before sitting down to eat. This makes it much less likely you will overeat.
