<p>Fast food, take out, and processed food are full of fat and generally do not contain the nutritional elements necessary to facilitate Fat loss or even just good health. The saying &#8220;you are what you eat&#8221; comes to mind when I see overFat people eating unhealthy food.</p>
<p>A typical McDonald&#8217;s meal, burger, fries, and soda, come to an astounding 1,100 calories. That is nearly a total day&#8217;s allotment of calories for the typical 140 pounds women trying to lose Fat. Choosing the right type of food is imperative to achieving your goal of Fat loss.<br />

The first step is to avoid eating out whenever possible. Learning to plan your meals ahead of time at home will go a long way in fueling your body with the correct type of food but also will reduce the burden on your wallet. Set aside about fifteen minutes once a week to take an inventory of your kitchen and to plan your meals for the rest of the week.</p>
<p>Here is an example of a week&#8217;s worth of meals:</p>
<p>1. Baked salmon with grilled vegetables<br />
2. Zesty shrimp stir-fry<br />

Planning your meals allows for the greatest amount of control over what you are spending and to avoid letting foods go to waste. Aim to include as many vegetables in your meals as possible &#8211; stick closely with bright colored vegetables for a variety of vitamins and minerals, textures and tastes to complement all your dishes.</p>
<p>When you are actually doing your shopping &#8211; make sure to stick to the list. You will be tempted to buy items outside of your list but do not give in. If you can avoid purchasing any &#8216;negative&#8217; foods that are not a part of your plan, it will become much easier to curb once you are at home with no &#8220;negative&#8221; food to eat.</p>

Though both of those are healthy foods, the Total has a glycemic index of 76 and the All Bran has an index of 30. That information alone makes your decision for you.</p>

<p>Trying to lose Fat successfully depends heavily on the type of food you are eating. And when it comes to asking a person to change their diet, the first thought that comes to mind will be boring steam chicken breast, salad and all that organic stuff. Frankly speaking, your food does not have to be so boring and bland. It can actually be delicious and yet, you can lose Fat at the same time. The best of both worlds.<br />

What kind of food will come to mind when I ask you to change your food intake to a new food regime?</p>
<p>Most people will think of the following food, which people often termed as boring:</p>
<p>- dry plain chicken breasts<br />
- steam broccoli<br />
- tuna<br />
- whole meal bread<br />
- oatmeal</p>
<p>These foods above are what people commonly associate with what bodybuilders will eat in order to lose Fat. And it is also the same reason why so many people will eventually lose their fight in their Fat loss attempts. But fret not, there are some things which you can do today which will make your life easier, and healthier with the food you eat. It should allow you to stay lean and keep it that way permanently.</p>
<p>The type of food I am talking about is known as unprocessed foods. Our taste buds have been used to so many types of processed foods and additives such that we have lost the ability to enjoy unprocessed foods.</p>
<p>Problems with processed food:</p>
<p>- There are too much corn syrups and sugar in such food<br />
- A number of food have too much trans fats and refined vegetable oils<br />
- There are too much flavor enhancers like MSG and commercial salt<br />
- And certain &#8220;so call&#8221; diet drinks contains too much artificial sweeteners</p>
<p>All of the above have left us with a senseless taste buds. So it is time for us to adjust to the natural flavors that these foods possessed.</p>
<p>I have a number of suggestions that can help you in your transition from processed food to unprocessed food.</p>
<p>1 &#8211; If you can, try avoiding fried foods.</p>
<p>2 &#8211; Use less salt. Instead, try to use more herbs and spices while you are cooking your meals.</p>
<p>3 &#8211; If you have a habit of consuming cakes, candies and sweets, maybe you can try eating fruits or dark chocolate instead.</p>
<p>4 &#8211; Stop drinking soft drinks, and lay off those diet soda drinks as well. Start drinking water or unsweetened tea with your meals.</p>
<p>5 &#8211; Food like fish, chicken breasts, pork tenderloin and grass-fed steaks have great taste and it is real meat. Stop eating the stuff like sausages and hot dogs.</p>

<p>What is a bad food anyway? There are foods which make us feel better when we eat it, nourish our bodies more, help us to grow stronger etc., but every food has its piece in the equation. Once you see something as bad, you connect emotion to it; it&#8217;s bad, so you have negative feelings towards it.<span id="more-1693"></span></p>
<p>Be Mindful: When a person says a food is bad, it is often their overindulgence of it they refer to. It is excess of anything that is the true &#8216;bad&#8217;. Essential minerals have toxic levels, too much fiber without adequate hydration causes constipation, and a sweet treat gone overboard translates into conversion to fat in the body. It is only when we find a healthy balance that we can refrain from getting got up in this &#8216;good vs. bad&#8217; food labeling.</p>
<p>Giving greater credence to one food over the other based on beliefs or the information out there is fine; that is our personal choice, but then you have to truly let it go. It becomes unhealthy when we practice disdain towards the food that has been labeled &#8216;bad&#8217;. You don&#8217;t become a healthy eater by constantly reminding yourself and others of the bad foods that are out of your life, or scorning those foods every time they&#8217;re within 5 ft of you.</p>
<p>And in my opinion, you can never truly embrace what you perceive as good and healthy, if your attention is always focused on what you perceive as bad. It&#8217;s like finally meeting the man of your dreams, and constantly bringing in the ill actions of a terrible ex. What kind of relationship would that be?</p>
<p>One way to start stepping out of the &#8216;bad/good&#8217; food labeling and embracing more varied, enjoyable eating is to allow yourself to miss your food a little bit and to consume sensible amounts of it. Let&#8217;s face it, you appreciate anything less if you are having too much of it at any given time. As the phrase goes &#8216;Absence makes the heart grow fonder&#8217; and so it is with food as well.</p>
<p>One way to create such a &#8216;fondness&#8217; would be to designate a day or time of month etc. around a food theme; for e.g. &#8216;Pizza Day of the Month&#8217; or &#8216;Spanish Night Out&#8217; to help curb overindulgence and make eating more enjoyable. Balance is the key concept here.</p>
<p>A truly balanced eating pattern is inclusive of all foods, but with a sensible mix that you can actually live with.</p>

<p>Effective Fat loss is a huge subject, and one finds a lot of different methods of effectively losing Fat available. Each one claiming to be &#8220;the one&#8221;, and somehow finding fault with whatever else is available. The common denominator is the person. How does one choose, which method of Fat loss to follow?<br />

Firstly, I think it is crucial, to start with the correct mindset. To achieve this, you should clearly decide what it is you would like to achieve, and why. What it is you would like to achieve?You want to effectively lose Fat. Do you want to firm up generally? Lose your tummy? Become more defined? Do you want to fit into an old outfit? Just worried about your health? Not satisfied with your appearance? Is your figure maybe affecting the company you keep, or are looking to attract? Looking to attract your &#8220;perfect&#8221; partner?</p>
<p>Why exactly do you want to lose Fat?</p>
<p>Some brain storming is needed, to crystallize your Goal. To define the what, and the why. What you would like to achieve, is your goal. Why you would want that goal, is your motivation. The engine that keeps you diligent. Make a list of your criteria, and make your list as long as you like. Even, take a few days, over compiling your list. Keep deleting, and adding, until you are perfectly sure of &#8220;what&#8221; it is you want to achieve.</p>
<p>Do the same with &#8220;why&#8221; you need to accomplish your goal.</p>
<p>If you can send a concise, clear message to your brain, it is then clear on how to adapt your life, to accommodate effective Fat loss. The Fat loss program you choose, is the tool to achieve your goal. Your mind will make it happen. But first, your mind has to be clear on what you require it to achieve. A method to clearly monitor your progress, so you can see where you are, in the process is a great help. Maybe, regularly, measure yourself, weigh yourself, take before and after photos. Choose a method you feel comfortable with, and can maintain.</p>
<p>Determine how you motivate yourself. Are you moving towards, or moving away from something? Ask yourself, why do you want to lose Fat? If you answer to fit into something you no longer fit into, you are moving toward. If you answer &#8220;So I can get rid if my back pain, you are moving away. Once you find the answer, (you probably want to vary the questions, and repeat several times, to arrive at an accurate conclusion)</p>
<p>You then have the strategy to motivate yourself. Try getting pictures, of what you want to move towards, or away from, and put them in places to keep you focused. Now that you know why, and what you want to do, and you also know how to motivate yourself, it is time to get the final ingredient for effective Fat loss.</p>

<p>These foods and drinks do not nourish you, but you sacrifice your health just for a few minutes of taste sensation.</p>
<p>When we realize that these foods aren&#8217;t worth it, we can then move forward to a healthier happy life. Don&#8217;t hold on to them because they will keep coming back to hurt you and your Fat loss goals.</p>
<p>These foods do nothing for you but help hide and repress feelings that need to be released. So instead of indulging in them or holding on, start giving your body what it wants. Start your day with a green smoothie to help nourish your body and put you in the right mindset. A simple green smoothie would be to blend 2 handfuls of spinach with 4-5 bananas and some water. You will be amazed how level you will feel all morning on this smoothie!</p>
<p>On top of this it is great to start incorporating fruit at the beginning of every meal. Fruit is your friend!</p>
<p>Besides this, it is good to try and eat a large vegetable salad everyday. I find that mixing it in my evening meal helps and sticking with veggies I like in large quantities.</p>
<p>These are only a few tips to get started but by eating more fruit and vegetables and acknowledging that those junks foods are no good for you, you will soon start feeling great and no longer want or desire indulgence in those rubbish foods. And even if you do and do indulge, you will soon discover exactly what you really are missing out on and it won&#8217;t be nice!</p>

<p>My favourite spicy food Fat loss recipe is a delicious Spicy Lentil Soup. The reason is that it contains a number of great tasting ingredients that bring some nutritional or physical value to your body.</p>
<p>Spicy Lentil Soup Ingredients</p>
<p>400g red lentils (soaked overnight) &#8211; lentils are great as they are low gi giving your body a steady flow of fuel without a blood sugar spike. Also packed with vitamins and minerals and very affordable.</p>
<p>Vegetables &#8211; onion, carrots, celery, capsicum &#8211; your choice of fresh vegetables</p>
<p>Small piece grated Ginger and 2-3 crushed cloves Garlic &#8211; Aids in digestion and respiratory function.</p>
<p>Spices &#8211; I like to use Cumin because of its huge number of benefits for general health, cancer prevention and of course recovery after exercise. I also add chilies or a tablespoon of cayenne pepper to get the desired spice.</p>
<p>2 tablespoons vegetable stock powder and water (enough to cover mixture)</p>
<p>Spicy Food Fat Loss Lentil Soup Method</p>
<p>   1. Soak lentils overnight<br />
   2. Cut vegetables into small pieces, crush garlic and grate ginger<br />
   3. Add all vegetables and drained lentils to saucepan<br />
   4. Add vegetable stock and enough water to cover all ingredients<br />
   5. Simmer for 30 minutes to an hour to unlock all flavour</p>

<p>I know the secret to Fat loss for myself. I want to share this secret to steady and sure Fat loss with you. The secret is knowing that you and I and every other person requires a unique combination of foods, nutrition and exercise. If you can figure out the correct combination for you, it is like opening a safe full of your most precious possessions. It all starts with keeping an honest Fat loss food journal. I want to tell you what I have done (finally) to get that correct combination for me and start shedding the pounds!<span id="more-1055"></span></p>
<p>You may have tried numerous fad diets, Fat loss as seen on TV programs, pills that are guaranteed to dissolve all of your extra fat, or maybe even stopped eating for awhile. I certainly did. None of these strategies work and I now understand why. These are all temporary fixes that do not really do anything to help you understand your own body&#8217;s reaction to different foods.</p>
<p>I now create a new diet plan for myself every 2 weeks using a very easy to use software program. Each time I do this I will pick the specific kinds of foods that I would like to eat along with what I am doing for exercising and how much Fat I would like to lose, etc. The program can take any combination of input and create a unique diet plan right down to generating very specific grocery lists, menus, when to eat what foods and how much.</p>
<p>This software program is part of a comprehensive Fat loss program that gives you all the information you could ever want about dieting, food, nutrition, exercises and foods to specifically boost your metabolism, and so much more and customized for you.</p>
<p>I have figured out which foods I like that also perk up my metabolism and I also know what portions I can eat for particular foods and when I can eat them. Time of day for certain foods is critical!</p>
