<p>In America, most people are so focused on doing everything at a very fast pace that they tend to forget about nutrition. This is why the obesity rate has quadrupled throughout the decades! I even know people who are in their early teens and are morbidly obese. It just goes to show how bad the problem of Fat gain has gotten because it wasn&#8217;t like that in my mother&#8217;s generation. Back then, the obesity rate was extremely low. My solution to this serious problem is a list of low cholesterol recipes.<span id="more-2565"></span></p>
<p>Turkey burger</p>
<p>Turkey burgers are starting to take over the hamburger industry. If you realized how high hamburgers are in cholesterol, you&#8217;d understand why turkey burgers are becoming the next popular burger in this country. To make a turkey burger, you need everything to make a hamburger except for the hamburger meat! Isn&#8217;t that funny? My favorite toppings are sautéed onions, low fat cheese, and lettuce. Since it is white meat, it is really good for lowering cholesterol.</p>
<p>Edamame veggie burger</p>
<p>This burger is perfect for vegetarians who still like the taste of meat! Just prepare this meal with 2 slices of thin pizza dough, 1 Edamame veggie burger patty, and a few sprinkles of shredded Monterrey jack cheese mixed with mozzarella cheese. You have a delicious, low cholesterol meal in just a few minutes.</p>
<p>Fruit salad</p>
<p>A recipe like this is perfect to eat in the summertime because of its cool temperature and it is ideal for summer picnics. I like this recipe because of its taste, temperature, and the way it makes me feel. If you&#8217;re trying to improve your health and your overall well-being, I&#8217;d advise you to eat a fruit salad. There is no set recipe, just add your favorite fruits and you&#8217;re done! I like to add strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, sliced yellow apples, chopped walnuts, and grapes along with low fat vanilla yogurt.</p>

<p>Like many people in America, I like to eat pizza. Veggie pizza is the healthiest pizza to eat because it only has vegetables and low fat mozzarella cheese in it. Try it with mushrooms, black olives, green bell peppers, and spinach. You should never feel bad for eating this because it&#8217;s good for you.</p>
<p>Turkey meatloaf with collard greens</p>
<p>This is the perfect soul food dish to eat when you want to lower your cholesterol without getting rid of your ethnic meals. I also don&#8217;t have to worry about my cholesterol level increasing and that&#8217;s what I love the most about this meal. Just remember to season your collard greens with smoked turkey instead of ham hocks.</p>

If you are so stressed out that you find yourself binge eating, you need to stop, think and get away from the food. <p>• Take some time out for yourself. Many of us are surrounded with situations and people that cause undue stress. Having some time to yourself is essential. Have a nice relaxing bubble bath with candles and a glass of wine. Read a good book in peace. Anything to separate yourself from your day.</p>
<p>• Try to regulate your blood sugar &#8211; by not eating refined processed foods and excess sugar. These types of foods can increase your cortisol levels and cause Fat gain instead of loss.</p>
<p>• Cut down on the coffee and beverages that contain caffeine, instead, drink green tea. Green tea contains anti oxidants and is said to help with Fat loss. Try to drink two or three cups per day.</p>
<p>Being stressed out makes you feel tired, drains you of energy and generally affects your overall health. <p>Maybe this is a bold statement but I think losing Fat can be easy. In my humble opinion, the biggest issue with people trying to lose Fat is that they are eating the wrong foods. Perhaps that sounds obvious, and if it does, wouldn&#8217;t the obvious solution be to start eating the right foods?<br />

I&#8217;m guessing that people just don&#8217;t know what the right foods are because of all of the mixed messages and misinformation. Plus, there is the issue with food dependencies and addictions. If I were to outline a diet regimen and suggested that it had everything your body needs to be healthy and also said that you would only need to do it for 3-4 weeks to see results, most people would balk at the idea and not do it. What&#8217;s interesting to me though is that those same people would go on a restricted diet just long enough to qualify for the Fat loss surgery. You know, the one where they slice part of your stomach out so you can&#8217;t eat as much afterward? Outrageous!</p>
<p>Seriously though, I feel that people are spreading lies when they suggest you need animal flesh in your diet. I feel wholeheartedly that people can, and should, have a diet comprised mostly of fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables contain fat, protein, calcium and all of the other nutrients that people seem to think aren&#8217;t present in them.</p>
<p>OK, assume for a second you believe me and the countless other people that suggest fruits and veggies contain everything your body needs to survive and thrive and you are actually willing to give it a go. Now what? What about the convenience factor of fast food? And, who really wants to eat a bunch of salads and stir fries? Well, I have a simple solution for you.</p>
<p>I will describe a diet that I suggest anyone should at least try, after confirming with a naturopath doctor, for 2-4 weeks. Before starting, get some blood work done. Check your vitamin levels (B12, D, etc). Check your minerals (calcium, etc). Check your cholesterol and anything else that is on the blood work form that contributes to health. Then you&#8217;ll have hard numbers to compare against, besides your Fat, after the diet is complete.</p>
<p>Ready? Get a blender. Get some of your favourite fruits, preferably organic. Get lots of them including bananas, berries, mangoes, papaya, etc. Now get some greens, again, preferably organic. Get some kale, baby spinach, dandelion, parsley, dill, anything green and leafy. Get some avocados. Get some 100% juice in a carton for convenience sake. Now, anytime you feel hungry, mix 70-80% fruit in a blender with the rest greens. Just use one type of green at a time and keep rotating them. Oh, and add some juice or water in there so it blends easier. Blend until smooth and drink. Tastes great and is void of all the crap you normally eat and is also full of digestive enzymes because it hasn&#8217;t been heated. Skip the supplements too, this has everything. Eat ½ an avocado every day or two for healthy fats.</p>
<p>The greens mixed with the fruit generally make the whole drink low glycemic, especially if you use berries. Also, you will be very well hydrated without the need for plain water. Don&#8217;t believe me? Check your pee. Plus you will have the best of what the earth has to offer being easily digested into your body.</p>
<p>You will detox as your body rids itself of the yuckiness from the past and you begin to heal. You&#8217;ll see a lot of weirdness in your poop and your poop may be green. Don&#8217;t be alarmed. You are healing and losing Fat. You might lose more than you want to initially but your body will bounce back to your ideal Fat as you progress. Best of luck!</p>

<p>A second technique is to use positive self talk or affirmations. This might seem like a corny idea to some, but studies have demonstrated that it is an effective habit. Self talk is a wonderful way to achieve any goal. It can also uplift your general mental attitude. If you are struggling to lose some Fat and could use some positive mental encouragement, self-talk may help you to get into a better frame of mind and lose some stubborn pounds.</p>
<p>How do you use self-talk? Here is how to do it. Day by day, stop and reflect on what sort of thoughts have been going through your head. It is as easy as that. If you can make meditation a habit it will be easier to de-stress any time you need to during your day.</p>
<p>Positive words, affirmations, and meditation are some of the most effective tools to achieve a healthful state of mind and to reach your Fat loss goals. Once you are positive, you can use the best Fat loss diet for you to guide your efforts.</p>
