The 6 Key Principles to Fat Control for Life

diet fat loss tips

It’s amazing how difficult Fat control is for so many of us out there. There are so many diet programs, books, courses, support groups, this, that and the other that it’s literally insane! Never before has there been such an abundance of options and variety in our diet, but also never before have we had access to such an immense volume of food. However, I’ll tell you right now: the problem doesn’t always boil down to overeating – and when it does, the food’s usually not the issue. Here’s what I’m really getting at:

When it comes to Fat control, there are 6 key principles that can change your results in no time flat. This article will serve as a quick overview, while individual articles will follow about each key principle in depth.

The first principle is absolutely crucial: finding your ideal personal diet.

This is talking about the dietary lifestyle that works for you. Each individual has different caloric needs, different ratios of protein/fats/carbs to fulfill, and radically different personalities, likes and dislikes. All of this goes into determining your ideal personal diet – I personally eat a mostly vegetarian, Mediterranean-style diet that works great for me. I love fresh fruits and vegetables, and make a green, blended smoothie absolutely every day of the week. I’ve found what works for me, but most people haven’t taken that all-important step.

Principle #2 is eating for emotional comfort. So many of us have emotional attachments to food that are driving the wheel and making all of the decisions! Most people eating for emotions hardly realize they’re eating those foods at all, being caught in an emotional trance and largely subconscious behavior. Changing this is paramount to your success.

Principle #3 is buying into fitness industry myths – don’t believe half of what you hear in this mammoth industry. Sure, protein helps build muscle and is absolutely essential to the human body, but most people do more harm than good by tapping into whey, casein and other low-grade protein powders and supplements. Get the real stuff and start getting some real results.

Principle #4 is environmental, referring to the insane amount of chemicals in our environment – whether that’s at home, in the office or in your actual outdoor environment. Many of these chemicals destroy your hormonal balance and lead to excessive Fat gain – read up on principle #4 to find out the easy switch that so many people are overlooking right now.

Principle #5 is living in a state of stress and anxiety. If you’re stressed out from work, from your personal life, from certain people or situations, you’re literally dowsing yourself with cortisol, the stress hormone. This, again, leads to excessive Fat gain, trouble thinking clearly, and other harmful effects. There a number of ways to change this life-threatening stress, whether it’s directly or through effective stress management tools.

Lastly, Principle #6 is living your purpose (doing what you love). If you’re doing something you absolutely hate everyday to get by, or even just because you’re used to it and it now feels secure, you’re not only killing off your sense of wonder and appreciation of life, but assuring yourself frustration, poor health, suffering relationships, and especially Fat gain. Living your purpose and doing something that feels meaningful for you is absolutely essential to controlling your Fat…for life.

If you’ve read this article in its entirety, congratulations – you’ve just discovered the 6 key principles of Fat control for life that most never get around to. Of course, this is the exact information they need to be seeing in the first place! Fat control usually isn’t about one aspect (such as a single food), but is commonly a combination of lifestyle choices you’ve made in your own life. Do a quick review of the 6 key principles above and really start thinking about the decisions you’ve made in your life. Are you where you want to be right now? Why not? What’s holding you back? If you can adopt these 6 principles and grow, develop and expand them into your life, you’ll soon be wondering why you ever worried about your Fat in the first place!
